Elkton Christmas Parade Friday, December 14th Instead of building a float, we thought, we would set up a booth and give out free hot chocolate and coffee to everyone along with a card about Lakeview Baptist Church. When the officials of the parade heard about what we wanted to do, they invited us to set up our booth right inside the courthouse! Wow, what a way to proclaim the love of Jesus and the beautiful family of Lakeview Baptist Church to all who come to the Elkton Christmas parade!!! We will be setting up in the old courthouse at 4:00 PM. The parade starts at 6:00 PM. Come join us as we spread the love of Jesus and information about our awesome church!

Sunday Mornings are going to be very special in December …There is no greater story than the Christmas story. It is the account of our Savior leaving heaven and being born of a virgin called Mary. Not only was there Mary, but Joseph, the Shepherds, the Wisemen, and the Angels. In our morning worship services for December, there will be a song sung and a person or persons dressed as a Christmas story individual and they will come and will be lighting the candles of their Christmas character. We will also open God’s Word and take
look at the Christmas story and the message it has for us today.

 December 1st  the Angels

 December 8th the Shepherds

 December 15th the Wise men

 December 22nd the Christ

December 1st The first Sunday night of each month has quickly become a favorite of mine. I just love seeing these beautiful residents of Christian Health smile as we minister to them! So on this Sunday evening, we will be taking the Christmas Spirit to the beautiful people of Christian Health

December 15thA Special Christmas Day & Evening … This year we are going to do something new …, we will be making a full day of taking the Christmas Spirit to our community. Right after the morning services we will have a fellowship meal of sandwiches, chips etc. Then at 2:00 PM we will be loading up on the Heritage Christian Academy bus and going as a church family Christmas Caroling & Giving Gifts of Loveto some special people. We are do this to say, we care and you are not forgotten! We love you and so does Jesus! What a blessing this day promises to be! When we finish, we will gather back at the church for some hot or cold drinks, sandwiches and to share how the Lord touched you during this day. This promises to be a very special time for all. My son will tell you that a trip like this created a very special Christmas memory for him as a young youth that he will never forget! A big thank you goes out to David and to Heritage Christian Academy for the use of their bus and driver!
